The 9/11 Memorial & Museum

In the heart of Lower Manhattan, where the Twin Towers once stood, the 9/11 Memorial offers a place of remembrance, reflection, and hope. Two great reflecting pools sit in the footprints of the towers, where water falls endlessly into the earth. Around their edges, the names of nearly 3,000 men, women, and children are inscribed in bronze, honoring the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
Nearby stands the Survivor Tree, a pear tree found badly damaged in the rubble, nursed back to health, and replanted at the memorial, a living symbol of resilience and renewal. The museum below tells the story of that day and its aftermath through artifacts, personal accounts, and remembrances of the people who were lost and those who answered the call to help.

On our New York City tour, you'll have time to visit the memorial at your own pace, a moving experience that many travelers say stays with them long after they return home.
